Girl Talk
I just downloaded Feed the Animals. I may be a little behind but I cannot get over how fucking awesome this album is! I never thought I'd care to hear stuff like Soulja Boy, Sinead O'Connor, Blackstreet, Bob Dylan and Quad City DJ's (yeah..) ever again but the way this thing is mixed is insane. So insane that he makes Ace of Base and Hot Stepper sound good - think about that for a second.
Also - let's talk about how cool it is that you can "pay as you please" and download the entire album as separate tracks, one continuous track and get the physical cd (you pay through PayPal). You can even choose your preferred format - MP3 or FLAC. Why aren't more artists doing this?
He is coming to Cincinnati on November 9 at Bogart's and I am so there. The guy over at Status Ain't Hood said, "People actually dance at Girl Talk shows. I'm not quite sure how this happens, but it does," - which makes me really excited to go see him live. Plus, tickets are only $13.50 and you can't beat that.
Now walk it out...
